After working and gaining experience within the film and music video industry Ebeneza found himself trapped in a routine and inside his comfort zone. His transition to Super 8 pushed his craft and artistry to a place where he could experiment with traditional shooting.
As a member of the diaspora, Ebeneza believes that it’s important to show a true perspective of Africa. “In history, there were many great kings and queens that came before us that originated from Africa. Africa has many great historic moments. I believe this has not been put to light as much in contrast to the amount of charity campaigns I see on commercials of Africa needing support”.“... people can live the happiest life with less.”
On the Year of Return, Ebeneza is “really glad that people are starting to notice that Africa isn’t just a place of poverty, but a land of opportunities, which is also rich in culture and nature.
