MEET MIRCHI
When we think back to our childhood, most of our memories revolve around a shared love of tastes. The taste of fried samosas when guests came over, ma’s fufu and palm nut soup for dinner. Growing up in West African and South Asian households, spice was always at the centre and it’s the mixing and blending of those tastes that’s the true inspiration behind Mirchi.
When we first connected, sipping, swapping stories and sitting around a kitchen table, we realised how closely our early memories lined up. It gave us a sense of belonging and lit a spark for something bigger.
That’s how Mirchi came into the world, and it’s the feeling we want to bring to our people. Mirchi tastes better together — and everyone’s welcome here.
Mirchi means “spice” in Urdu.
